History of the Anselma Mill

The meeting will feature a talk by Jennifer Green of the Chester County Historical Society on the history of the Anselma Mill. This early flour mill, also known as the Lightfoot Mill, is located in the Chester Springs area on PA Route 401, near the intersection with Rt 113. Come out and join your friends and neighbors to learn about the mill and share some light refreshments.

From the Anselma Mill website:

During the Second Saturday of each month, April to December of 2021, the Mill is open for tours and educational activity from 10AM-4PM.

The Mill is also open on weekends throughout the April-December season, unless indicated on our Calendar, Saturday 10-4 and Sunday 1-4. During 2022 the rates are suspended in favor of donations.

When we are not open for business, and provided there is no private event in session, our Mill is open to walkers, joggers, or picnickers from Dawn to Dusk. Check out our trail map: Lenape Trails at Anselma
