Reminder – CHS Mtg April 12 7pm

The meeting will feature a presentation by Benjamin Franklin as portrayed by Mr. Mike Kochan of Paoli, PA. Mike’s presentation will describe Franklin’s place in the history of electrical discoveries, and will include demonstrations of some of Franklins’s experiements using replicas of equipment used at the time. Most of us can remember the story of Franklin’s kite experiment during a thunderstorm to demonstrate lightning and electricity were the same.

Mike’s background as a toolmaker has enabled him to replicate 18th century technology, including optical, electrical and vacuum equipment. He has been portraying Ben Franklin for over 10 years and will be demonstrating Franklin’s experiements with accurate replica apparatus. We encourage all friends, neighbors and CHS members to come out for this interesting meeting.
